Happy Valley

Mikey's Moments > Happy Valley
Having loved reading and re-reading the James Clavell Shogun series which is set in Japan and Hong Kong, I have enjoyed seeing many areas in Hong Kong which were featured in the books and the Happy Valley Race Course is one of them.

So bad weather not withstanding I set out on the Wan Chai Star Ferry and wandered until I found Happy Valley. I did a circuit around the race course then headed back down the steep hills to get an iced chocolate and sausage roll before a quick look at the Hong Kong Convention Centre and a ride back over Victoria Harbor on the Star Ferry and a last few steps back to the hotel. All in all, a 15,929 steps and 9.87 mile walk...
